For dental laboratories

Stop checking 8 scanner portals. Get every case in one inbox.

Scan Inbox watches all your scanner portals and your case email, then drops every new case — downloaded, renamed and filed — into the folder your CAD software already watches.

Your cases are scattered across a dozen places

  • You check 3Shape, iTero, Medit Link, DS Core, Carestream, Planmeca and Dexis — plus email, WeTransfer and Dropbox — just to see what came in.
  • Every new case is downloaded, renamed and dropped into your lab software by hand. Again and again.
  • Cases sitting in a portal nobody opened today get noticed late — or missed entirely.
  • There's no single place that just says: here's everything new, from everywhere.

How it works

Every case, one place, automatically

1

Connect your portals

Add the scanner portals you already use and a catch-all case email. Scan Inbox watches them all for you.

2

Get one notification

The moment a case lands anywhere — any portal, any clinic — you get a single alert. No more tab-hopping.

3

Auto-filed for CAD

The case is downloaded, renamed to your convention and dropped straight into the folder your CAD software already watches.

Why nobody has built this for you

Every scanner maker wants to keep you inside its own portal, so none of them will ever pull your cases together. Scan Inbox covers every portal — including the long-tail ones like Carestream and Planmeca that other tools ignore — and it's a standalone tool, not a heavy lab-management system you have to migrate your whole business onto.

Questions labs ask

Which scanner portals do you support?

The plan is to cover 3Shape (Communicate / Unite), iTero / MyiTero, Medit Link, DS Core / Sirona Connect, Carestream CS Connect, Planmeca and Dexis — plus a catch-all email for cases that arrive by email, WeTransfer or Dropbox. Tell us which ones you use and we'll prioritise them.

How does it get into my portals — is that safe?

Scan Inbox uses your lab's own portal logins and a dedicated case email. Files flow straight from the portal into your own folder — we don't sit between you and your clinics, and we don't store your clinical data.

Do I have to switch my lab software?

No. Scan Inbox is a standalone tool, not a lab-management platform. It files cases into the folder your existing CAD software already watches — nothing to migrate.

What will it cost?

We're aiming for simple, à-la-carte pricing — pay for the one thing it does, not a big suite. Join early access and you'll help us set it.
